Kyleen Wong
KYLEEN WONG is an associate at Black Gropper, practicing in all areas of labour law. She is passionate about working with unions to advocate for workers’ rights. Prior to joining the firm, Kyleen articled and practiced at the Child and Youth Legal Centre. She has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia as lead counsel in several family law trials.
During law school at UBC, Kyleen competed in the Jessup International Law Moot and worked as a Program Coordinator with Pro Bono Students Canada. She also interned in-house for a semester through the Corporate Counsel Externship and was the recipient of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Prize.
Outside of the office, Kyleen volunteers with the Amici Curiae Friendship Society assisting self-represented litigants and with the YWCA Metro Vancouver as a mentor to high school students. She enjoys running, practicing yoga, reading, and cooking, and is an avid backcountry camper, a recreational snowboarder, and a dabbler in bikepacking.
